Action:
On the South side of the arena, Eric went straight out of his gate, while Erin turned West towards him.  Eric's shots did some damage to Erin, while Erin's shots bounced off the metal on Eric's right side.  On the East side of the arena Aaron headed straight out.  Helen turned towards him, but upon discoering how difficult the shot was, decided to hold her fire in turn one.  On the North side of the arena, Curt and Jeff turned towards each other in a joust.  Jeff's VMGs bounced off Curt's metal, but did
enough damage to keep Curt's handling low.  Curt hit Jeff a few times and nailed him wth a FCGS as he went by.
The struggling to control Curt was skimming the wall North and West of the far NE pillar and was zeroed in on by Aaron.  Aaron got hit by a FCGS and Curt turned head on to the ram to make it more painful, but Aaron survived it and easily cleaned out Curt (Aaron 40 pts (full kill) Curt -40).

Helen took an ineffective shot as Aaron zoomed past her front and drove to the East of the NE pillar.  To the South, Erin decided that the matchup with Eric was not favorable and veered off back towards the east.  Eric continued North, while slightly veering East to keep Erin in his arc.  Erin's metal armor kept the damage form Eric's blows low and her Gunner/Driver PFE combo was able to put out fire mods.

Meanwhile, Erin closes on Helen and does serious damage to Helen's left side.  Eventually, Eric was able to score two hits with the RLs on Erin on the same turn and set her on fire...the Driver's PFE didn't put it out (the gunner had fired at Helen that turn)...roll for explosion.....no!  One more turn and the RLs were toast, but Erin's Driver put out the fire immediately on the next turn.
Jeff and Joe engaged each other on the mid-east part of the arena.  Joe dropped a paint discharger that Jeff narrowly avoids.  Jeff scored a hit on Joe's left and a couple hits to Joe's rear as he passed by.  Joe contined east to the center of the arena while Jeff went South away from the action.  After the ram with a much reduced speed, Aaron's left side was nailed by Helen's ATG as she pursued him from around the pillar with Erin about 7" behind.
With Joe zooming to the middle right in front of him, Eric broke off engaging Erin, and aimed his car at Joe.  Prior to impact, Joe turned his car towards Eric for a combined ram speed of 100mph.  The ram obliterated Joe and only slowed Eric (Eric full kill +40 pts, Joe -40).

Erin continued to pursue Helen and in one vicious salvo took off half her rear armor.  To discourage further pursuit, Hel laid down a FCGS stream in front of Erin.  Erin was able to avoid the cloud, but had to break off pursuit to do so.  Helen's speed caried her past the still relatively slow Aaron.

After the ram, Eric turned west to keep his guns trained on the the passing Aaron, Helen, and Erin (in that order).  This left his left side open to the Jeff who had completely turned around.  Jeff nailed him with all three guns and ripped off all the left armor to score internal hits on CA.  Eric turned South to protect his breached side, while Jeff approached from the South and Helen and Aaron approached from the North.  Erin stayed to the North part of the arean out of the action.  As Hel passed she laid down a flame cloud gas stream that nailed both Eric and Jeff, keeping the handling of of both cars low.  After this she veered West towards Erin who was turning South  from the far NW corner of the arena.  Jeff's weapon fire bounced off Eric's front.  Aaron and Jeff zoomed by each other just North of Eric.  After passing Jeff (who effectively blocked Eric), Aaron did a D6 turn into Eric for a 70mph T-bone.  Eric BTed RLs only scored one hit on Aaron and only did a measly 4pts of damage (and more importantly only a D1 hazard, that Aaron's HD Shocks ignored).  The ram eliminated Eric's RLs and some CA, but Eric survived the collision.  The D4 hazard (D3 w/shocks) from the
collision forced a critical control roll form Aaron....and he made it.  The loss in speed form the collision, put the two of them at similar speeds.
In the NW, Hel and Erin exchanged fire and mutually destroyed each other in in an AAIE manuever (head on ram). (Hel and Erin 0)

As Eric and Aaron zoomed South, Eric forgot to use his back ice discharger while Aaron was in a precarious position.  Jeff had completely turned around again with a few skids here and there.  His guns scored hits on Eric's back from across the arena.  Eric veered East, while Aaron veered West behind the barrier for cover.  In an attempt to get around the SE barrier to provide cover, Eric did small D1 manuevers, however despite needing only a 2's twice, he failed twice.  The first skid gives Jeff a great shot on Eric's rear and Jeff cleans off the last of that armor and breaches the gas tank.  The second loss of control forces a skid head-on into the south wall.  The now Stationary Eric is now easy prey for Jeff to finish.  (Jeff+ 40, Eric 0)

Aaron goes along the West, while Jeff goes along the East as they prepare for their final showdown.  Aaron uses the obstacles to prevent himself from being fired upon.  He uses the cover of the East middle barrier to close on Jeff from the West.  As he close for the T-bone.  He just barely gets within point blank range for Jeff's turret.  Jeff's turreted VMG hits, and does a 12 for damage....taking off the last of Aaron's ramplate and doing internal damage.  Aaron T-bones Jeff, but without the extra ramplate damage, Jeff's power plant is taken out, but his driver survives...Aaron is easily killed (Aaron +20, Jeff +60), giving victory to Jeff Dodge in the inaugural TSAR duel.
