Notes: (new stuff added to the top AND bottom.)
Use your team's respective CB channel to communicate with each other. My email should not be included in these once the game starts. When sending movement or combat commands, make sure they're only addressed to me.

Soft cover (leaves, bushes,
etc.): This will work in two ways. The first as normal soft cover rules where
if 1/4 of the target is exposed there's a -1 to hit. 1/8 or less exposed is
a -2. If you want to shoot THRU the tree it will act as smoke does: -1 per
1/2".
Hard cover (walls, cars, terrain, etc): -1 if 1/2 of your target
is exposed, -2 if 1/4 of your target is exposed, -3 if 1/8 or less (in the
determination of the referee).
This goes 3 dimensionally as well. Instead of the blanket -2 mod for firing over another vehicle, use the above hard and/or soft cover numbers above to figure out the additional firing penalty. Can you see the entire length of the truck, but it's lower half is covered by terrain? -1 to hit. I'll be drawing LOS lines vertically as well as horizontally. If your truck is firing over a compact car at a distant target, but that compact car is very close to your truck, it may not add a penalty because it isn't in vertical LOS. However, if that compact is close to the target, it will affect LOS. Bene?
Hmmm, I'll rule that you can also fire at BOTH of those targets as one big lump, and then roll randonly to see which vehicle is hit.

Once your team is established, I'll want to take a vote on whether or not you'd like to see the base counter removed from around the vehicles. I've been experimenting without the counters, and it adds a lovely new element to the game. Clicking the pic above will lead you to a sample of cars without the counter/border (the above, a compact next to a camper, is a sample of that image). Now, the size of the vehicle you choose plays a much larger role in determining how easy you are to shoot and ram. The smaller the car, the harder to hit. This does NOT affect the normal rules of the game as far as to-hit roll modifiers, movement, firing arcs, ramming angles, etc. However, since you're no longer firing at a 1"x1/2" target, the car will be harder to aim at if it's half hidden behind another object. A smaller car can also fit through tighter spaces.
However, all other counters will keep their bases. Dropped weapons, debris, obstacles, etc. will still be represented by its original shape. These are each more or less standard in size, and should remain consistent.

Since there will be quite a few players involved in this, I'm going to have to be a stickler for the 24 hour turnaround rule. *I* may not update every day (with all the players and vehicles it may take me two days), but as soon as I get a chance to do so, I can't wait for late responses. This is to ensure that 1) the game keeps moving, 2) other players don't have to suffer cause of your late ass, and 3) well... because I already made all the maps. If I'm too efficient you'll kill each other before the end you won't get to see them, and my girlfriend will be vindicated in harping me to "wait until they get there to make that map!"

If you find that one of your teammates isn't replying or doesn't seem to be into a team orinented role, then we'll consider ditching them. I don't want your team to suffer because of a lack of reply or interest, so that person's vehicles (or roles, say, if he or she is only controlling the gunners, etc.) will get distrubuted to another player(s).

There's an item on the truck that may not be known to everyone:
Oversized Vehicle Airfoil (OVA): $1,500 and 150 lbs. per pair. -1 from all maneuvers and crash table results above 60mph, regardless of the number of foils on the mounting vehicle(s). Oversized vehicles larger than 35 spaces (20' feet) must mount two pairs for benefit. Cannot be retrofitted; must be part of original design. A foil is destroyed when a section of side armor its mounted on is destroyed. A destroyed foil will negate the effects of all other foils on the vehicle and any carried on towed trailers.

Missed shots. I will be using the 'missed shot' optional rule for close quarters combat. Basically, if there is another object in a direct line of fire with your intended target, there is a chance that it might be hit with your fire. All modifiers are included, plus another -2 because you weren't aiming. Needless to say, if you don't have 'Line of Sight' to the object, you can't hit it. You can't accidentally hit the compact that was hidden behind the truck you were aiming at.

I WILL also be a stickler for the 3rd dimension. That means firing over objects is possible with turrets, as is getting into a vehicle's blind spot. If you are within a distance (horizontally and vertically) that is less than the firing vehicle is tall, then they can't hit you. Don't forget to take into account your vehicle's height as well. Below is an amazingly crafted piece illustrating what the hell I'm talking about.

Simultaneous and conforming movement. This is very ambiguous in the rules, so I'm going to rule it my own way. If two vehicles are side by side at the same speed and they each offer me movement trying to conform the other in the same phase, the vehicle with the lower Díed maneuver will be conformed. So, if car A does a D3 bend towards car B, and car B does a D2 bend towards car A, car A would conform car B by a D1 (15 degrees). This is, of course, with two vehicles of the same DM. If the driver of one of the vehicles has a higher skill, then he or she gets to make the full maneuver. This overrides the (CWRQ or ODQ) rule about vehicles already in contact which basically states that, ěthe conformed vehicle may not make any maneuver that will push the conformer back.î
If two vehicles are in constant contact, then itís up to whomever does the more severe maneuver to dictate their path.

Trees and contours. Each ground contour represents 1/4" of height. This means that most vehicles will have a hard cover modifier applied to their to hit roll wherever there are hills, or be totally blocked from firing. The leaves of the larger trees are roughly 1" balls that act the same way as soft cover. However, the leaf cover starts 1/2" above the ground, so this will only affect the turrets of the taller vehicles. The leaf cover of the smaller trees is roughly 1/2" round and starts at 1/4" above the ground. The ONLY exception to this is where a tree overlaps the road. Here, the tree has been pruned back to allow vehicles to pass. IF you find yourself off-road, hitting the branches of a tree gives no damage or hazards. The tree trunks are a little tougher: the big trees have 20DP and the small have 8DP. If a tree is on a hill, then add the height of the contour to the leaf cover.
Vehicle heights: motorcycles, trikes, sub-compacts and compacts are 1/4" tall. Mid-sized, sedans, luxuries and station wagons are 3/8" tall. Pickups, campers, and vans are 1/2" tall. Ten wheelers are 3/4" tall, and 18-wheelers are 1" tall.
