Convoy Setup

First
thing is to come up with a name for your trucking company.

Second
is to figure out what you're going to do with the $65,000. Will you spilt it equally amongst your teammates, or spend it according to an overall team plan? Will you sink it all into the trucks or build escort vehciles? Each
player doesn't HAVE to control an equal number of vehicles. One defensive-minded player may control all the trucks while the others get an escort or two; one player may control the truck drivers and another the gunners; etc. Obviously, there are a ton of configurations, and it's up to you. I do want to stress the idea of your convoy being a team.
Splitting the money equally may result in a singular defensive mentallity where each player is only protecting their own truck as opposed to the convoy. You won't win if only one truck survives. The whole convoy, as a team, has to get as far as possible.

Third is to position your convoy in the following 9 inch by 2 inch starting area. This will represent your convoy's standard highway formation.

(The road sections, as visible above, have a grid. I scanned this in to give it a little more of a table top feel. I will NOT align vehicles up with the gridding in the "evening out" maneuver. It's been scanned at 100%, but that doesn't mean the grid is 100% perfect. It's only for aesthetics.)
